The Clear-Com HS-6 telephone-style handset offers a convenient means for the less frequent intercom user (like your sound guy/gal) to link with the system. Full-duplex communication is possible, and the push-to-talk button minimizes bleed of external sound into the intercom line when the handset is not in use. The handset connects with a 4-pin female XLR connector on a coiled cord, just like a standard intercom headset.
Please note that in order to have a fully functioning intercom system you need to connect your handset to a beltpack which is in turn connected to a main station which supplies power to the system.
