This is an optional sound suppression kit for Sensor dimmer racks. Sensor Sound Suppression Hoods (SSSh) reduce fan noise for acoustically sensitive installations. The sound emanating from a dimmer rack comes from the cooling fan that maintains a safe operating temperature. The sound suppression kits reduce the sound produced by the ventilation fan by surrounding it with an enclosure lined with sound absorbing foam.
