  • September 2018:  The Element (1) is now a legacy console and no longer available for purchase.  Existing consoles are still supported by ETC, new purchases should use the Element 2 instead.

Based on ETC's award-winning Eos control system but with a simplified feature set, Element is designed expressly for modest rigs and maximum hands-on fader control.  Affordable and easy to use, Element packs in the fundamentals of lighting control.

Designed for venues using primarily conventional lighting, the Element control console provides the powerful features of the Eos system in an economical and simplified package.  In addition to keypad commands, True LTP Channel Faders provide hands-on control of intensity and can be used to set manual levels and edit recorded cues and submasters.  Moving Light Controls are available to facilitate the use of conventional accessories like moving mirror heads, color scrollers or gobo rotators, or to make controlling small numbers of moving lights simple and direct.

Element Console Features

  • 250 or 500 Control Channels (Fixtures)
  • 2 DMX universes with no co-processing
  • Dedicated master playback fader pair
  • 40 faders, switchable between channels (1-120) and submasters (1-40)
  • Element 60 adds 20 faders for submasters
  • Supports two external high resolution monitors or touchscreens
  • 2 DMX/RDM outputs
  • 2 RJ45 outputs (sACN, ETCNet2, Net3, ArtNet, and Avab UDP)
  • 7 USB Ports, plus Contact Closure and MIDI connections
  • Limited to built-in faders, does not work with Eos Family Fader Wings.

Eos Family Features (Element Specific)

  • Show file compatibility with the entire Eos Family, from the Eos Ti down to the Element² and ETCnomad.
  • Three user-definable workspaces per monitor, each with discrete split-screen controls, frame management, and snapshots.
  • Custom-design your control interface using Magic Sheets, with topographical or abstract layouts.  Full interaction with the command line allows command instructions - from the simplest and most immediate to the most complex - accessed from a mouse or single- or multi-touch displays.
  • Client/server networking and synchronized backup with another Element or ETCnomad
  • Client and Offline programming on PC³ and Mac³ via ETCnomad
  • 99 discrete online users with partitioned control
  • 10,000 Cues and 1 Cue List
  • 1,000 each of Presets, Palettes, Groups, Effects, Snapshots, Curves, and Color Paths
  • 99,999 Macros
  • ² The Element does not support Multiple Cue Lists or more than one active playback.  Additionally the physical submasters are locked to numbers 1-60, and fader wings are not supported.
  • ³ PC requires Windows 7 or higher. Mac requires macOS Mojave or later.  The ETCnomad software is free for offline programming or "mirror mode", but requires a dongle to act as a client.
