Incandescent theatrical lights are hot and gel is expensive to replace. These Color Extenders move the gel frame away from the focal plane of the lighting fixture, extending gel life and saving you time and money. Fabricated from durable cold rolled steel with hemmed edges. Black powder coat finish
To extend your gel life even more try adding a sheet of Thermashield or Super Heat Shield (accessories tab). Thermashield reflects the infrared energy back towards the fixture (away from the gel), while Super Heat Shield acts more as a barrier sacrificing itself to extend the life of the gel.
