This adapter comes in handy when cables are run in the wrong direction, and you have the female 3-pin connector at your lighting console or DMX output. Also allows you to add DMXcat to the end of a DMX run for testing (disconnect your DMX source first!). Male 5-pin XLR connector to Male 3-pin XLR connector.
