Designed to be a companion to GAM's original TwinSpin, GAM Film/FX adds a continuous loop motion as opposed to the double rotation of the TwinSpin. Use just about any dimmer to vary the speed. You can also plug it directly into the main power and operate at full speed.
The GAM Film/FX like the TwinSpin is built on a stainless steel housing to ensure stability of the drive mechanism in the high heat environment of an ellipsoidal spotlight. The precision machined drive rollers coupled with a high performance low voltage motor provide reliable performance. The unique snap in design, makes it very easy to change the FX/Loop.
- Fits in ETC Source Four (full size), Altman Shakespeare, and Strand SL
- Continuous pattern loop motion
- Wide variety of FX/Loops to choose from
- Stainless steel housing ensures stability of the drive mechanism in the high heat environment of an ellipsoidal spotlight
- Speed control by dimming the power supply
- Not recommended for continuous long-term use due to a short loop life of about 100 hours. GAM's SX4 is a good choice for these applications with a loop life of 2,000 to 4,000 hours. Send us an email for a quote.
