The Tectonic LS-218 Subwoofer delivers extended low-frequency performance and dynamic range through an advanced port design that optimizes chamber size, port velocity, and acoustic loading of the dual 18-inch woofers. The LS-218's enclosure exhibits superior sensitivity and power handling and provides increased gain over typical front-loaded designs. Two Neutrik NL4 connectors enable the system to be run with only two individual amplifier channels driving 8 Ohm loads or a single amplifier driving a single load wired in parallel at 4 ohms. Cabinets are designed for easy stacking, they can be used as a cardioid pattern acoustic solution when rear and side-firing low-frequency pattern control is desired.
