The Crest 4801 power amplifier is a compact, high-power amplifier designed to meet the stringent needs of professional use in concert touring, high quality sound reinforcement, professional fixed installations, and studio monitoring. A two rack-space amplifier, the 4801 uses forced-air to cool channel heat sinks mounted in a back-to-back tunnel configuration. Stereo, parallel, and bridged mono operating modes can be chosen with a rear-panel Mode Select switch. An actively balanced female XLR input connection and 5-way output binding posts are provided for each channel. 400w Per Channel @ 8 Ohms Stereo.
