Flame Resistance
Cotton fabric is treated for flame retardance, which will wear out over time. Most states require drapery to include a burn test strip, and be tagged with manufacture date and treatment method.
Manufactured to meet or exceed:

- California GA0358.01, C-14101 (except Princess/Virtue/Majestic/Magic)
- New York Fire Dept. No. 5012 (except Princess/Virtue/Majestic/Magic)
- UFAC Class 1 (except Princess/Virtue/Majestic/Magic)
- Canada ULC S-109 (except Marvel/Memorable)
Fabric should withstand several pure solvent dry cleanings and annual testing for flame resistance is recommended as atmospheric conditions can alter the effectiveness of the flame retardant.
