Rigging Hand Line

This rigging hand line is made of multi-filament polypropylene braided around a core.  Since its strength comes from the external braided filaments, it's considered low in strength, but is easy on the hands and a good choice for general purpose work.  Also known as braided rope, haul line, rigging hand line, rigger handline, or riggers rope.

  • Solid Braid General purpose work. Flexible and easy to coil.
  • Double Braid All-purpose hauling. Increase durability and resistance to abrasion/snags.
• Feels good in hand
• Diameter 5/8"
• Material Polypropylene
• Not for use in counterweight rigging systems.  The inner core can slip when the rope lock is engaged.
• Not for use in most track systems (too large)
• WARNINGRigging requires a thorough knowledge of loading dynamics & design factors.  Improper installation or misapplication of a single product can lead to structural failure, bodily injury, or even death.
