Plateau is our most popular lightweight drapery velour with a soft hand and beautiful drape. This 100% IFR (inherently flame retardant) polyester fabric is durable with an attractive matte finish, is virtually opaque, and weighs just 13 - 13.5 oz. per linear yard.
Synthetic Velour (IFR) has become the new industry standard as it is cost-competitive with Natural Velour, but Inherently Flame Retardant and tear-resistant. This means it can have greater longevity than Natural Velour, especially in coastal environments. Available in a range of colors and fabric weights to suit your project.
