DMX Smart Modules add bi-directional isolated DMX-512 ports to CueServer 3 Flex or Pro. Seven different models are available in 5-Pin XLR, 3-Pin XLR, RJ45, and Terminal Block. Each module is software definable as either a DMX Input or DMX Output. Modules are fully isolated and protected to help prevent failures caused by ground loops, voltage mismatches, power surges, or electrostatic events. An LED indicator on the module shows operational status. In addition to normal DMX, alternate protocols including Station Bus* and RS-485 serial are supported.
