Hinged Foot Irons are used to help brace scenery flats, typically used on scenery flats which are flown in. Foot Irons are secured to the scenery and then Steel Stage Screws are typically used as a quick and repeatable way to secure the scenery to the floor.
Flying scenery is typically done using both Top and Bottom Hanging Irons, appropriate sized aircraft cable is threaded from the Bottom Hanging Iron up through the Top Hanging Iron and then up to your pipe or batten. When the scenery is flown in you should use Hinged or Bent Foot Irons to secure the scenery flat to the floor. Typically these Foot Irons are attached to the scenery and attached to the stage floor via Steel Stage Screws (see accessories tab).
