ProColor Classic

The ProColor Classic series includes a range of Ben Nye's most popular classic colors in an airbrush compatible water-based formula.  These pigmented shades apply beautifully on their own, and can mix together for seamless customization of hues and tones.  After drying the ProColor formula settles to a matte finish with a comfortable to wear skin-like finish.

Mix colors in the airbrush prior to application, or blend layers of colors directly on the skin.  The ProColor series is best utilized by editorial, beauty, bridal, face & body painters, special effects, and cosplay makeup artists.

Apply colors by having them flow through an airbrush at a range of 5-25psi.  Set the airbrush compressor to a lower psi when working around the eyes, lips, and ears.  Painting larger surface areas can be done with a higher psi.  ProColors can also be applied with a sponge, or brush making them a versatile liquid formula for any face & body art makeup artist.

To thin the ProColor formula down, mix in Ben Nye's ProColor Mixing Liquid at a ratio of 1:1.  Increase the durability of colors or improve pigment adhesion to prosthetics, mix in Ben Nye's ProColor Final Seal.  The Classic ProColors can achieve a pearlescent finish by mixing in Ben Nye's Lumiere Luxe Powders prior to application.

Remove colors from the skin with HydraCleanse and a thorough cleansing with warm water.  Flush colors from the airbrush by sending clear water, followed by isopropyl alcohol through the airbrush.

The Classic ProColor shades pair beautifully with Ben Nye's FX and Death shades for Ben Nye's creative creature and special effects artists.  To achieve unique layers of colors, use the ProColor airbrush formula alongside Ben Nye's Alcohol Activated Palettes to build colors without the risk of smudging in the process.
