SmartPack rack mount dimmers normally have all the weight loaded onto the front rack rails where it is attached. While this typically is OK for installations, it usually is not desirable for portable/touring applications.
This kit includes two rails and the hardware to attach the rails to both your SmartPack and the rear rack rails.
