Rubber tape is an alternative to electric tape, instead of a sticky adhesive this tape fuses to itself. Eliminates the sticky mess found when you have to open up old electrical tape to redo connections.
Rubber Tape is used in combination with friction and vinyl tape for primary insulation up to 600 volts and for use around split bolt connections, terminal lugs and compression connectors. It is used for insulating and waterproof applications, and easily conforms to irregular shapes and surfaces yielding a void free, electrically stable buildup. It is compatible with all extruded dielectric cable insulations.
