This spring is used in the lamp burner assembly of Source Four ERS fixtures. Helps hold both the socket assembly and lamp in place. For fixtures made prior to 1997 you will need to order the retrofit kit (if you haven't already). While we use the name lamp burner, it is also called a socket cap, burnbase or burn base.
