The Congo Light Server's 19"-design packs the identical features, channel and output counts as the Congo console into a stand-alone, rack-mountable enclosure suitable for permanently installed applications.  Running Cobalt's potent operating software, the Congo Light Server is a fully independent lighting playback controller or a convenient back-up option.

Congo Light Server RPU Features

  • Full Congo jr power in a 19" rack, use as primary or backup
  • 2 or 12 DMX universes with no co-processing
  • 20 user-definable buttons
  • Supports two external high resolution monitors or touchscreens

  • 1 RJ45 output (sACN, ETCNet2, Net3, and ArtNet)
  • 5 USB Ports, plus Contact Closure and MIDI connections
  • Supports the Cobalt Programming Wing
  • Support for up to 80 master playbacks (not wings) using Cobalt Motorized Fader Wings, Universal Fader Wings or the Congo jr Master Playback Wing

  • ² The Congo Kid does not support fader wings and is limited to 2 DMX Universes of output.
  • ³ PC requires Windows 7 or higher.  Mac is Intel only and requires OS X or higher.  The ETCnomad software is free for offline programming or "mirror mode", but requires a dongle to act as a client.
  • ⁴ The console is still limited by the number of DMX universes/outputs, thus you may not be able to use all these channels.
