  • Feb. 23rd — Lead time on shipping ETC Puck is estimated at 6 weeks *  once the factory is given an order (which will also secure your place in line).
  • * Due to the rapidly changing situation, lead time can change within hours of an update.  Sometimes it can be extended due to supply chain issues like delayed/missing packages of critical parts.

Enjoy the concept of PC-based lighting control, but worry about the risk?  Don't want your laptop to walk away from a venue?  Concerned that someone on your crew would try to play video games or browse the Internet when they should be programming?  Then you need ETC Puck.

This ETC-provided and supported mini-computer is locked down, so no software other than ETC applications can be installed, giving you peace of mind that your device is safe, secure and used only for your shows.  ETC Puck also makes a very cost-effective, highly portable Remote Video Interface.  This is a Windows 10 unit; as such, multi-touch displays are supported.  ETC Puck can serve as a primary, backup or client device, and it can also work offline.

ETC Puck Features

  • 2 or 12 DMX universes¹
  • Eos Software in an ETC-provided mini-computer
  • Output DMX via Ethernet (sACN/Net3/ArtNet), or optional Gadget USB to DMX Interface
  • Works with Eos Programming Wings, Eos Motorized Fader Wings, Universal Fader Wings (PC only), and OSC Controllers
  • Supports iRFR, aRFR, Net3 Show Control and I/O Gateways
  • Up to three fader wings may be used
  • ¹ Starting in Eos v2.9.  Earlier versions of Eos only unlock 1 universe at base level.

Eos Family Features

  • Approachable yet powerful syntax for programmers of every level
  • Award-winning color controls, including six Color Pickers and a Gel Picker for color mixing.
  • Custom-design your control interface using Magic Sheets, with topographical or abstract layouts.  Full interaction with the command line allows command instructions - from the simplest and most immediate to the most complex - accessed from a mouse or single- or multi-touch displays.
  • Augment3d 3D programming and visualization environment²
  • Virtual Media Server function for pixel-mapping
  • Timecode and automation integration
  • Show file compatibility with the entire Eos Family, from the Apex 20 down to the Element 2³ and ETCnomad.
  • Three user-definable workspaces per monitor, each with discrete split-screen controls, frame management, and snapshots.
  • Client/server networking and synchronized backup
  • Client and Offline programming on PC⁴ and Mac⁴ via ETCnomad
  • 99 discrete online users with partitioned control
  • 32,768 Control Channels (Fixtures)⁵
  • 10,000 Cues and 999 Cue Lists

  • 99,999 Macros
  • ² Augment3d available starting in Eos v3.0, which does not support early generation Windows XPe devices.
  • ³ The Element 2 does not support Multiple Cue Lists or more than one active playback.  Additionally, fader wings are not supported.
  • ⁴ PC requires Windows 7 or higher. Mac requires macOS Mojave or later.  The ETCnomad software is free for offline programming or "mirror mode", but requires a USB Key to act as a client.
  • ⁵ The console is still limited by the number of DMX universes/outputs, thus you may not be able to use all these channels.
